COVID - 19

Keeping our community safe.

The team at Broome Dental Clinic are working hard to keep our patients as safe as possible during the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic.

A safe dental visit starts before you come in...

When you make your appointment we will ask if you have travelled or been unwell in the last few weeks. If you have we will reschedule your appointment at no cost with the option of a telehealth consult for cases in which urgent care is required. New patients will have their paperwork sent to them to complete prior to their visit for a contactless experience.

As you arrive for your appointment...

We give patients the option to check in by phone and wait in the car, our staff will inform you when the room is ready and you can come directly in. For those patient who would prefer to wait inside the clinic, out waiting room has been set up to adhere to social distancing guidelines. We have hand sanitiser available outside the clinic that we ask all patients to use before entering.

During your visit...

As you enter the surgery room, your dental assistant will ask you to wash your hands prior to taking a seat in the dental chair. You will then be prompted to do a short rinse with a mouthwash containing chlorhexadine before we commence your appointment.

Behind the scenes...

Our infection control standards ensure that the surgeries are thoroughly cleaned in between each and every patient and that all our instruments are steam sterilised in between use. In addition to this, our staff are conducting extra surface cleaning of both surgeries and common areas to keep everyone safe.
